Entry requirements
Applicants must be registered nurses or/ endorsed midwives seeking to update their knowledge and skills or/ midwives seeking re-endorsement.
Please note that a university qualification is not required for entry into this program.
Post-endorsement students and midwifery refresher students need to submit a professional portfolio to the Program Director when seeking Credit Transfer ‘exemptions' into the Graduate Diploma of Midwifery d.hay@cqu.edu.au, or phone 07 4930 9703 in order to ascertain the courses to be undertaken and to establish a study schedule.
Recognition of prior learning
Recognition of prior learning will only be granted where a student is able to demonstrate that tertiary study equivalent in content and depth to the CQU program has been successfully completed. Students should examine the course synopses in the CQU handbook to determine the courses from which they may be able to claim exemption. Scholarships and Grants
There are a range of scholarships and/grants Queensland nurses are eligible to apply for.
Computing requirements
It is a requirement of enrolment in this program that all students have access to the CQU website via the Internet. Students may be required to undertake various components of study in the program using email and the Internet.
