This program will further develop and enhance the generic skills acquired by the student at the undergraduate level.  The focus for this program will be on the development of skills appropriate for teaching at the tertiary level. The generic skills will be embedded in the courses contributing to the program.  Certification of the development of these skills will be established via robust assessment procedures.

The objectives of this program are:

• demonstrated ability to improve the teaching and learning environment for tertiary education at Central Queensland University;
• demonstrated ability to adopt or adapt innovation in flexible teaching and learning at Central Queensland University; and
• creates an environment that fosters dissemination of experiences in the early uptake of innovations in flexible learning.

The Graduate Certificate in Flexible Learning consists of 3 courses to the value of 8 units of credit each.
