Computing requirements
Students will need access to a computer. Access to the Internet and email is required. A computer capable of running Microsoft Windows is required. Hardware and software specifications change, so if you are purchasing a computer for your studies, you should purchase the best quality and highest capacity (RAM, hard drive, monitor) that you can afford.

Transitional agreements
There are no adverse implications of students completing MATH12218 Foundation Engineering Mathematics, in place of MATH11160 Technology Mathematics.

Existing students may graduate under pre-2006 rules.  Transitional arrangements are as follows:
  • the following courses are being renamed:

COIT11133 Programming A to Programming Fundamentals;

COIT11134 Programming B to Procedural Programming; and

  • the following course replacement applies:

COIT13132 Professional Issues should be replaced by COIS13064 Information Systems Project Management from 2006.
