Entry requirements
Students must have completed an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) recognised Diploma in Hospitality Management in order to obtain entry to this program.
Note: students must check to see when and where a course is offered before attempting to enrol. See the course availability section in this handbook for details.
A recommended study schedule for this program can be obtained from the faculty website or your Program Advisor. Students may determine their own schedule based upon credit transfers and personal study requirements. It is important to note that full-time students usually enrol in 4 courses per term and part-time students usually enrol in 2 courses per term.

Plans
A plan is defined as 6 courses in a specialist area and must include at least 4 Advanced Level courses. 1 plan must be chosen from the following specialist areas offered by the Faculty of Business and Informatics.

- Management
- Economics and Finance
- Human Resources Management
- Tourism
- Marketing
- Business and Taxation Law
- E-Commerce
- Consumer Marketing

Note: apart from the compulsory courses a maximum of 6 courses may be studied outside the Faculty of Business and Informatics.
