Entry Requirements

Candidates must possess qualifications and experience which are deemed equivalent to:

1. a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification; or

2. a recognised diploma and a minimum of two years of relevant communication and information technology experience; or

3. a minimum of five years of relevant experience for those without professional qualifications who are working in relevant occupations (such as library staff).

Offshore delivery sites

Programs available at offshore delivery sites are offered with the support of local agents.  Students should note that some programs are subject to articulation arrangements with the local institution and that course and program offerings are subject to availability at that particular delivery site.

 

Application for credit transfer

Credit transfer will only be granted where a student is able to demonstrate that tertiary studies equivalent in content and depth to the CQU program has been successfully completed.  Students should examine the course synopses in this handbook to determine the courses from which they may be eligible to claim exemption.  For more information about credit transfers contact your Program Administrator.

 

Computing requirements

It is a requirement of enrolment in this program that all students have access to the CQU website via the Internet.  Students may be required to undertake various components of study in the program using email and the Internet.
