The Diploma of Business program is designed to provide a range of diploma level study options for students who either do not seek, or are unable to expend the time required to complete a full undergraduate degree program. In addition to having value in its own right as a stand-alone qualification, the program provides an entry pathway into Central Queensland University's degree programs, and courses completed in these programs can be transferred into the University's Bachelor of Business program.

To satisfy the requirements for the award, students must complete a program of 8 courses (48 units of credit) which comply with the requirements stated below. 

Students must complete:

• 3 core courses; and
• 5 courses from one of the course lists provided.
