HonoursCT02 - Tertiary Entry Program
Program Aim
The Tertiary Entry Program (TEP) is offered by Nulloo Yumbah, CQU's Indigenous Learning, Spirituality and Research Centre.
TEP is the ideal program to prepare you to successfully complete an undergraduate program. TEP aims to:
- develop skills and confidence;
- develop independent learners; and
- affirm identity and culture in a learning context.
Although you must take responsibility for your own learning, Nulloo Yumbah staff members assist you. Throughout the program you participate in learning experiences which are personally and culturally affirming; we value the skills and knowledge you bring when you come to study. These skills and experiences are a very valuable aspect of the adult learning process.
Program Structure
You have the choice of studying full-time or part-time, externally for 12 or 26 weeks. The full program takes 2 terms to complete. In the first term you will concentrate on developing self-confidence and identity in an educational environment as well as your communication and computing skills.
Term 1 - 3 core courses and 1 elective.
Term 2 - 2 core courses and 2 electives.
