CF83 - Master of Arts Administration (Specialisation)
Program Aim
The program aims to:
- provide all students with a range of experiences that will enable them to conceptualise, plan, manage, produce and effectively manage within arts administration context;
- ensure that theoretical perspectives and administration skills are integral to, embedded and articulated throughout all courses such that creativity, innovation and enterprise are applied to arts administration practices;
- prepare award students to approach further postgraduate study; and
- engage students in a range of practices across related areas of arts management and allied support garnering (funding) activities.
The Creative Industries specialisation aims to:
- meet the need for arts administrators who work within a range of sites and production/performance contexts which demand a range of administrative creative and innovative responses;
- produce versatile arts administrators who are capable of operating across a range of contexts within the creative industries; and
- prepare students to work in the creative industries with a futures orientation and a solid understanding of the potential wealth creation which the creative industries generate.
Program Structure
Students must complete 8 courses (64 units of credit) to satisfy the requirements for the award.
