HonoursCG13 - Bachelor of Human Movement Science (Industry Co-op)
Program Aim
Co-operative education is an educational model that integrates academic studies with paid and industry-relevant work experiences. Bachelor of Human Movement Science (Industry Co-op) students alternate terms of study and paid work in workplaces specific to the student's future career aspirations within the health, fitness, sport or recreation industries. Work terms are usually four-five months long with students being paid approximately 50-60% of the accepted industry standard while studying 1-2 other human movement science courses externally.
Program Structure
Students must complete 22 courses/144 units of credit, which include:
- 17 core courses;
- 2 industry co-op courses; and
- 3 elective courses selected from any of the BHMSc Co-Plans.
