CE95 - English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS)
Program Aim
CQU provides various English language intensive courses for overseas students to cover all requirements, from general English to International English Language Testing System (IELTS) testing and preparation for formal degree studies. The CQU Language Centre at Rockhampton is an official IELTS test site.
Program Structure
CQU's Language Centre offers courses year round, with starting points every week. Courses cover two main areas of language study: general English and academic preparation. All courses include 25 hours of tuition per week with highly qualified and experienced teachers of English as a second language. Progress is assessed regularly and all students receive a Certificate of Course Completion.
