CG12 - Bachelor of Business/Diploma of Professional Practice

Program Aim

The Bachelor of Business program is Central Queensland's premier business management program. The program allows students to undertake studies in a wide range of business and management related fields, which in turn provides students with a wide range of career opportunities. The program also provides students with membership pathways to numerous professional bodies, ensuring that upon completing the program, students receive not only an academic qualification, but recognition of their skills and knowledge within their chosen profession.

Integrated into this program is the Diploma of Professional Practice program, which provides students with up to 12 months of paid, full-time work experience in industry as an integral component of their program experience.

The work placement component of the program is not only designed to provide students with experience in their chosen profession, but comprises an essential part of the program in developing students' professional skills and standards in a real world environment.

Students considering enrolling in the program should be aware that the work placement component of the program involves two full-time work placements, each of approximately six months duration. Students will need to consider these work placements in planning their studies and other commitments during their enrolment in the program.
