Entry requirements
A Bachelor of Learning Management, Bachelor of Education or an equivalent four year qualification from a recognised university. Students may be admitted to the degree if they can satisfy the Dean of their competence to undertake the program on the basis of equivalent qualifications and/or experience. For example, equivalence may be determined by a combination of:
- an academic record in a diploma or certificate award of appropriate content and standard;
- published or unpublished material of appropriate content and standard;
- satisfactory achievement in masters qualifying programs; or
- non-award professional development activities and/or work experience;
- presentation for assessment of a substantial professional portfolio; and
- three year bachelor degree plus relevant experience in the field.
A masters qualifying period may be necessary for some students.
Registered three year trained teachers wishing to undertake studies for four year status are encouraged to complete the MLM degree.

Articulation
Students currently enrolled in the Master of Education Studies, who enrolled during the HECS-based period of the degree, will be given the opportunity to articulate into the Master of Learning Management. The new program will be conveyed to all of these students. They will be given the option of graduating with the MSchMgt or the MLM. Students wishing to change their enrolment to the new MLM will be provided with pro-rata credit of up to 50%.
The Master of Learning Management (Specialisation) offers students a number of pathways to gain credit in recognition of prior work based learning. Students who focus their studies in recognised areas approved by CQU can have this specialisation on their testamur. For further information please contact the Faculty.
Students who have completed CV03 Graduate Certificate in Flexible Learning may be eligible to articulate into the Master of Learning (Specialisation) program. CV03 graduates who articulate into the MLM will receive credit for 3 MLM courses and will be required to successfully complete EDED 20426 Advanced Learning Management, EDED 20424 Professional Project IV and EDED 20425 Professional Project V to be eligible to to graduate with an MLM.
