Entry requirements

Students must have completed an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) recognised Diploma in Hospitality Management in order to obtain entry to this program.

Note: students must check to see when and where a course is offered before attempting to enrol.  See the course availability section in this handbook for details.

Please note that full-time students usually enrol in 4 courses per term and part-time students usually enrol in 2 courses per term.

Plans

A plan is defined as 6 courses in a specialist area and must include at least 4 Advanced Level courses. 1 plan must be chosen from the following specialist areas offered by the Faculty of Business and Informatics.

  • Commerce
  • Management
  • Economics and Finance
  • Human Resources Management 
  • Tourism
  • Marketing
  • Business and Taxation Law
  • E-Commerce
  • Consumer Marketing

Note: apart from the compulsory courses a maximum of 6 courses may be studied outside the Faculty of Business and Informatics.
