Program Aim
On admission to candidature, the candidate shall, in not less than two years, or more than four years (or the equivalent for a part-time candidate), pursue a supervised program of study and research, as approved by the Committee, leading to the submission of a portfolio of written work incorporating the three supervised research studies. Where the candidate has been granted advanced standing, submission of the portfolio of written work may be undertaken after 12 months of candidature.
Program Structure
The program will normally be undertaken by candidates through part-time study over six years or full-time over three years.
The program of study shall consist of:
- coursework as determined by the Executive Dean; and
- 3 supervised research studies (completed at a standard necessary for international refereed journal publication as per DEST disciplinary listings) to be submitted for examination as a research portfolio.
Consultation with the Associate Dean (Research & Innovation) of the Faculty of Business and Informatics will assist applicants to determine eligibility for admission, to identify the proposed areas of research and to ascertain the availability of suitable supervisors.
