The various English language intensive courses for overseas students cover all requirements, from general English to IELTS testing and preparation for formal degree studies.  The Rockhampton Language Centre is an official IELTS test site.

CQU's Language Centre offers courses year round, with starting points every week. Courses cover two main areas of language study: general English and academic preparation.  All courses include 25 hours of tuition per week with highly qualified and experienced ESL teachers.  Progress is assessed regularly and all students receive a Certificate of Course Completion.
