Honours Project/Thesis comprises two courses, one of 8 units of credit in Autumn Term and one of 16 units of credit in Winter Term. Mathematics A, B and C to be chosen from the following specialised areas:

  • Pure Mathematics
  • Applied Mathematics
  • Numerical Analysis
  • Statistics

Students are required to consult with the Head of School, Computer Science regarding the availability of the above topics in a particular year. One of Mathematics Topics A, B and C can be replaced by an equivalent credit course at an appropriate level from this or any other university, in particular COIS19071 Research Mehtods.
